A few days ago, during the Mobile World Congress that was held in the city of Barcelona, Sony Mobile introduced three very interesting models for the Xperia range; all with something in common dual core processor.
In an interview with CNET Asia, the director of product marketing for Sony Mobile, Stephen Sneeden, revealed that the company has no plans to launch quad-core smartphone during 2012, so it was not until early 2013 to see an Xperia quad -core.
Although it is only an assumption, the Sony Mobile Executive stated that launched a quad – core mobile when they feel that the performance is in line with the efficiency of the battery. It added that during the second half of the year, Sony will start view of the architecture Cortex A15, which is deemed to have better performance than quad-core architecture today.
