Fortunate are the predictions of market analysts. Maynard Um of UBS, continues the optimistic speech most of his colleagues, many smartphones will be sold (1,690 million) and companies will gain 242,000 million. At first prediction was somewhat lower but seeing the financial results of Apple decided to climb a little estimation.
Nothing new: optimism and growth in a market that continues to expand. However Um has left us a prediction rather curious. Apple and Samsung, two of the great titans of the industry, will grab 90% of the profits obtained during this year, a huge figure but with a little nuance.
This well, 90%, is an outrage. But Um clarifies that it is earnings before interest and taxes. According to analyst the competition will be tough this year even though Apple and Samsung will grab 55% of the market.
